Jack and Shelly Kebert were married on November 9, 1985. They began attending First Assembly in September of 1988, after returning from active duty in Germany, being stationed there by the U.S. Army. Jack is a fifth generation farmer on the original farm of his great-great grandfather. The Kebert farm is located between Neodesha and Fredonia by Dunns Dam on Fall River. Growing up, Jack farmed with his dad, Lloyd Kebert. Jack and Shelly began farming/ranching on their own after leaving the army, and took over the family farm when Lloyd retired in 2002. They have two sons, Brandon born in 1987 and Kyle, born in 1990.
Jack and Shelly taught Pioneer Club (boys 2nd thru 6th grade) for five years in the mid 90's. At this time, Jack is the director of the Bus Ministry and it is his face you will see every Wednesday night behind the wheel of the big yellow bus. Shelly is currently a sponsor in Edge Youth and serves on the sound and media team. The Keberts are a huge asset to the ministries of First Assembly.
