Pastor Ray and Brenda were both born and raised in southeast Kansas, graduating from Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville in 1972. They were married in 1974 and he graduated from Central Bible College in 1976. They pastored in Lyons, Nebraska from 1976 until 1986. While they were there, four children were born; Diane, Tony, Tim, and Stephen. They moved to Wichita in 1986 to pastor Trinity Christian Center. After over 22 years of fruitful ministry there, God brought them to First Assembly in February of 2009.
Pastor Ray enjoys teaching the Word and helping God’s people to walk in their respective callings. Brenda loves serving the church in practical ways and in the ministry of music.
